Always wondered if the delivery of packets at home can be improved? As a Planning Service Provider we enable companies and organizations to dynamically plan the distribution of goods in the most efficient way possible.

We do this for customers in the pick-up and delivery sector in the Benelux and are expanding rapidly across the world. To make it very simple, we help them deal with the increasing amount of online orders and demanding customers who want their purchases delivered within a day, at a specific time slot and location…and even change it last minute.

Team and product

Our team of passionate and super smart ex-rocket Scientists, optimization Algorithm Engineers, Data Engineers, Developers, Testers and Designers solve complex mobility challenges by shaping the new standard for planning. At the core of our planning services are our dynamic planning algorithms, predictive models using huge amounts of static planning data and real time routing data. All is delivered via an API, so logistic companies across the world can easily integrate and configure it to meet their planning needs.

Your mission

We are looking for an Account Manager who can supplement our team by building long lasting relationships, who understands the role of innovative technology and has a keen eye for commercial opportunities, so he or she can contribute to our ultimate goal: to turn the growing congestion issues that come with fast paced urbanisation into a sustainable and economic opportunity. You will be joining the Sales team, working closely with our Commercial Manager. Together you are responsible for the success and happiness of our fast growing customer base.

Key responsibilities

What does that mean and what is expected of you? Well, we are looking for someone who:

  • develops and executes customer success plans
  • builds strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • analyses uptake of our planning services, comes up with growth strategies and implements them with the customers
  • expands existing C42 services to ensure agreed business case is met
  • anticipates market trends and shares customer needs with our Product team to continuously innovate our services and meet our customer needs
  • is involved in sales, product releases, invoicing and support processes whilst keeping a sharp eye on our customers interests
  • together with the Sales team matures the Customer Success practice and expands the team

Experience & knowledge

  • 5+ year of experience in Account Management, Customer Success Management, Management Consulting, startups or in a similar environment
  • Proven sales experience
  • Master’s degree in Management, Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in API first services, Software as a Service or B2B Software companies
  • Proactive and gets things done
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English (the universal language of C42 is English)
