Your Mission

As a Lead DevOps Engineer your work is never done. You are on the right track if our systems are running 24/7, are secured and easy to manage. You will work cross-team, interfacing with the development team, deployment team and other related functions to ensure new or upgraded services. You will work in a tech team with 15 enthusiastic people. You are able and willing to manage several junior team members.

You have a hands-on mentality when there are problems. You are a pro-active person and can think along and help with managing the team. We work with state of the art technology and our challenging projects have great impact on society.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the developers, the deployment of new/upgraded services;
  • Monitor running services;
  • Think and architect secure infrastructures (networks and domains);
  • Document the processes involved;
  • Troubleshoot failures.


Experience & Technical Knowledge

  • 7+ year of working experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer in complex environments;
  • Experience with Cloud Operations;
  • Experience with Microservices Orchestration (Docker + Kubernetes);
  • Experienced with Salt/Saltstack;
  • You are familiar with the Agile methodology;
  • Nice to have knowledge of: network architectures/topologies and system security;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (the universal language of C42 is English).
